Nanu is committed to providing a safe environment for all users, especially children. We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including the creation, distribution, and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We actively work to prevent, detect, and remove such content and to report violations to appropriate authorities.

2. Prohibition of CSAE

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Nanu:

  • Uploading, sharing, or distributing CSAM or content that sexualizes, grooms, or otherwise exploits children.
  • Using Nanu to facilitate or coordinate child exploitation or abuse in any form, including online grooming or solicitation.
  • Engaging in or promoting discussions that normalize or glorify child exploitation.

Violations of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination and reporting to law enforcement. For more details, please refer to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

3. User Reporting & Feedback

We encourage users to report any content or behavior they believe violates this policy. You can report content directly through the app using the in-app reporting feature or by contacting our support team at support@nanu-app.com.

All reports are reviewed promptly and handled with the utmost seriousness. We also welcome feedback on how we can improve our child safety measures.

4. Addressing CSAM

When we become aware of CSAM on our platform, we take the following actions:

  1. Immediate Removal: We remove the content from our platform as quickly as possible.
  2. Account Action: We suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users involved in uploading or sharing CSAM.
  3. Reporting to Authorities: We report all instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States or the appropriate regional authority in other jurisdictions.

We preserve evidence in accordance with legal requirements and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

5. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

Nanu complies with all applicable laws related to child safety, including but not limited to the reporting requirements under the CyberTipline operated by NCMEC or regional equivalent authorities. We stay informed about evolving legal obligations and update our policies and procedures accordingly.

We have established processes in place to report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities, including NCMEC's CyberTipline, and we maintain records of all reports made in accordance with legal requirements.
